Vidya Balan SUPPORTS Ranveer Singh's Over NUDE Photoshoot Controversy, Says, ‘Agar Aapko Accha Nahi Lage Toh Paper Band Kr Dijiye’
Vidya Balan stood in support of Ranveer Singh over his nude photoshoot controversy and said if you don't like just don’t read the paper
Ranveer Singh has been the highlight lately due to his nude photoshoot. Complaints have been filed against him, debates are conducted on news channels, and netizens have trolled him. Every celebrity is questioned about their view on Singh and his photoshoot at any event they are spotted. Many actors like Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Alia Bhatt, and director Ram Gopal Varma have spoken in his support. Now joining the club is Vidya Balan.
Vidya Balan recently attended an event and was asked about her views on the Bajirao Mastani actor’s post. In a viral video, Balan was asked, “Haal hi mein Ranveer Singh ne social media pe post kiya, aag laga diya app kya kuch kehna chahoge?” To which Vidya gave a savage reply and said, “Arey kya problem hai, pehli baar koi aadmi aisa kr raha hai, hume logo ko bhi aankhe sekne dijye na (laughed) (What is the problem, this is the first time any make actor has done this. Let us enjoy)”.
She further added when asked that FIR has been filed and a ‘cloth drive’ has been organized for him. Again she replied in the most humorous way, “Shayad un logo ke pass jyada kam nahi hai to woh inn cheezon mein waqt gawaah kr rahe hai. Agar aapko accha nahi lage toh paper band kr dijiye, phek dijiye, jo krna hai kijiye, yeh FIR ke chakkron mein kyu padna hai (It seems that these people do not have much work, that’s why they are wasting time in this. If you don’t like, don’t read the paper or throw away, why get involved in the FIR).”
Earlier during the trailer launch of Darlings, Alia Bhatt also supported the ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ co-star saying that she doesn't like anything negative to be said about her ‘favourite’ Ranveer. Even his best buddy Arjun Kapoor said that Singh never does anything without being himself. His decision to pose nude is just an extension of his personality. Ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma also questioned, “If Women Can Show Off Sexy Bodies, Why Can't Men?”
